Nothing happens when opening/clicking UiPath Assistant.
Perform a clean Studio installation as explained below:
- First, close all the running instances of UiPath Studio.
- Next, create a back-up of the UiPath folders/files (see below locations) and custom activities, if any.
- C:\ProgramData\UiPath
- C:\Users\your.username\AppData\Local\UiPath
- C:\Users\your.username\AppData\Roaming\UiPath
- Uninstall from Control Panel - Programs and Features all Studio-related components.
- When the uninstall is finished, make sure that all other Studio components have been removed (check the below locations). If they are still present, delete the UiPath folder from the below paths, to ensure you perform a clean installation afterwards.
- C:\ProgramData\UiPath
- C:\Users\your.username\AppData\Local\UiPath
- C:\Users\your.username\AppData\Roaming\UiPath
- Once the above components have been removed, restart your machine.
- Finally, reinstall the MSI file.
