Hi,
Am using “Download Email Attachments” activity inside “For Each Email” Activity of Office 365.
I have checked “With Attachments Only” True. It is selecting the mails as per the condition but while I see there is no attachment.
None of the attachments got downloaded.
Is there a bug? Cause if it dnt see attachment why the bot even listing it out?
or Am I Missing something here?

There could be a few reasons why the “Download Email Attachments” activity is not downloading attachments even though the “With Attachments Only” option is set to true. Here are some possible explanations:
- The emails that the activity is selecting do not actually have attachments: It’s possible that the emails that meet the criteria you’ve set in the “For Each Email” activity are not actually emails with attachments. In this case, the “Download Email Attachments” activity would still run, but it wouldn’t be able to find any attachments to download.
- The attachments are in a different format than what the activity is expecting: The “Download Email Attachments” activity supports downloading attachments in a variety of formats, including .pdf, .docx, .xlsx, and .zip. If the attachments you’re trying to download are in a different format, the activity may not be able to recognize them as attachments.
- There is a bug in the activity or your workflow: While it’s possible that there could be a bug in the “Download Email Attachments” activity, it’s also possible that there’s an issue with your workflow that’s preventing the attachments from being downloaded. For example, if you’re specifying a specific folder path to save the attachments to, but that folder doesn’t exist or is inaccessible, the activity may fail to download the attachments.
If you are using office 365 activities then you need to use rwlated activities under that…
Please search activities with office 365 and thwn use the activities under outlook under office 365
Currently you are using different set which is used in other scopes generally

As i mentioned clearly in Problem statement i’m using
Download email attachments inside for each email. both are under 0365 activities,
unfortunately i cannot capture screenshot covering all those.
save attachments that you are seeing in screenshot is just trail & error. Please ignore that. but the activities tried are inscope ad taken reference from Documentation.

Hey nitya thanks for the response 
If i rule out all the options i’m left out with, bug in activity cause
- email does have attachment.
- It is of PDF format.
- Activity is picking the mail with attachment as expected as you can see it displays subject of the mail but when i gave attachment count it is shown 0
If you have used the correct activities then fine…screenshots should be aligning with them…First of all the for each you are using and save attachment both looked wrong only…if thats jot the case then please check …as When I test the same from my end the behaviour was not same

Using ver - 2.1.1 this activity is not there in previous versions.
I tried on 2.0.3 …its working on it…let me check on this as well…when I get a chance…you can try on it
Also alternately you can use use outlook 365 activity and use the for each activities that you used in the picture and check if you are able to save using them

I’m referring to “Download Email Attachments” activity.that is where am having issue, when am trying to download attahcments
If you see both for each and download are just beside each other in the screenshot
To be more precise it is available starting from 2.0.1

I just used get mail list and going with indexing in download mail attachment.
If you see this screenshot
it is picking the right one but shows it says0 attachments. refer to below screenshot, it does has pdf.
Do you see if am missing out anything?
It has attachmetns but it says 0

Looks like your office 365 setup issue…Can you confirm what authntication type you are using and if all the permissions are proper…As I tested with all the possible activities and we are actually using few in production as well and we do not see any issue as such
The Enterprise stable version is 2.1.1 .And It works perfectly fine on it

Not really adding much to the discussion, but just mentioning that I am able to download attachments (which are attached to the email directly, not inline attachments) just fine with Microsoft 365 Outlook activities via Integration Service. No problems here.

I’m using Interactive Token, What is your Authentication type?
@oscar what is the authentication type you are using?
