No traces of created case / ticket through customer portal

This morning I sent a new customer support ticket creation request, through Customer Portal.

As several hours have elapsed and I didn’t get a reply, I went searching there. To my surprise, I can’t find the ticket anywhere. Then I realized I didn’t get the confirmation email.

Is it possibel that there’s a bug with this?
