No idea what is my Device ID

Hi, I found an issue. When I need to renew my UiPath Community Edition free license I need to submit my Device ID on webpage. But I can’t check it in UiPath Community Edition because my license expired and I can’t log in.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled whole program and then Device ID show up on first screen, but that is not how it should work.




This works for Professional edition and I don’t have access to Community right now, but in case it might help:

Running this shows the license status for 2016.2:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath Studio\UiPath\Regutil.exe get-info”
Where “C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath Studio” is the default installation folder. So if you can find where the Regutil is in the CE edition (if it is there at all), you should be able to check your DeviceID from there.



In the next update it will be solved. Till then please use @andrzej.kniola solution.

When prompted asking if you have a license or continue free, you can select three different options, one of them has the serial key. Can you please check?

also you might need to delete the files inside the license folder before opening UiPath.

“C:\Users\Eduardo Sacahui\AppData\Local\UiPath\License”




You can find your device ID When you click Start --> help

and on the Right side of the screen under upath you can find all the info
