Need information about java plug in etc

Hi all

Need some information if you can provide. We have a process that we are automating via an web app that at one point in the process opens a java window. That windows is used for picture upload on that site.
UiPath offered its plug in so we can record that window which we installed and it all works.

My questions is:
When java upgrades will it affect the robot ? Will everything break down?
If we freeze java so that it does not update, will a later update of a UiPath affect how it clicks over that frozen java version?
