NAVIA – Open Source Agentic Web Automation for UiPath

Description

I recently built NAVIA, an open-source AI-powered browser automation agent designed to complement UiPath workflows.

Instead of defining selectors and individual UI actions, you provide NAVIA with a single goal-oriented prompt. NAVIA observes the web page, decides which actions are required, navigates through the interface, and returns structured JSON output that can be consumed directly by UiPath.

NAVIA is built with Python and Playwright and includes reusable UiPath activities for Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

Key features:

Single-prompt, multi-step web automation
No predefined selectors required
Autonomous observe → reason → act loop
Chrome and Edge integration with UiPath
Structured JSON output for downstream workflows
Support for multiple LLM providers
Open source under the MIT license

I’m sharing it with the UiPath community and would be very interested in feedback, testing and contributions.

@Vibhor.Shrivastava It can complete what ScreenPlay already did. This one is more “Goal Oriented” because you don’t need to dictate every step and each target.
