UiAutomation package version 25.10.24.
Been trying to do something very simple it seems. Click on a button on browser tab 1 and it will open Browser Tab 2. Check that element on browser tab 2 exists to verify that click was successfully executed.
Using object repository and modern activity set.
Have 2 different screens with elements correctly assigned to them.
Top level use browser is using “Chromium API” and “Application instance” configuration. Nested use browser is using “Chromium API” and “Single Window”.
Have 2 different workflow files - Process and Test file.
Process was first created with activities using 1 use browser with assumption that UiPath will be able to locate the right browser tab based on selectors of elements - was wrong.
Created 2nd screen and moved objects to be under the right screen. Didn’t update or recreate activities. Added new use browser for tab #2 and moved activities related to the screen in its scope.
When executing - activates that were moved under 2nd tabs scope from 1st tab scope are not working (looks like there is invisible setting in the activity that still thinks activity belongs to tab #1) - if there is a setting somewhere that can make it so that I can see what browser activity belongs to please let me know!!!
Test files exactly the same setup but I created new activities with objects under Tab#2 - everything is working fine…
Visually 2 code snippets are identical.
AM I missing anything? Is my only way out to recreate activites from object repository?
