Why are not all versions of my Modern Document Understanding Extractor visible for selection in the Extract Document Data Activity in Studio Web?
Issue:
A Modern Document Understanding project has multiple extractor versions deployed, but they are not visible in the Extractor drop-down menu in the Extract Document Data Activity in Studio Web. This issue can occur due to a recent change in how Studio Web handles Preview packages. For example, if a project was created prior to the change, but then opened after the change, Studio Web packages in the project would have reverted from 2.6.0-Preview to 2.4.1.
Resolution: To resolve this issue, a Governance Policy can be applied for Studio Web to re-enable Preview packages.
Steps To Resolve:
- In the Cloud Organization, navigate to Automation Ops -> Governance
- Click Add Product Policy -> Give the Policy a name -> Choose Studio Web -> Click Add
- On the next page, select the "Activities" tab and make sure "Enforce dependencies auto-update" is enabled
- In the Feeds section, make sure to select the "Enable preview packages and activities in the library feed"
- Save the policy
- Back on the Governance page, choose the Deployment tab and then the Tenants Tab
- Click on the desired Tenant
- Look for the Studio Web Product and now choose the Product Policy by the name that was just created
- Click Save
- Log out of UiPath Cloud and log back in. (Only after login will the policy become active.) Also, be sure that all tabs with Studio Web were closed prior to the logout/ login.
If the issue is still occurring after following the steps, validate the following:
