Missing usefull futures from Orchestrator 2019 - 2022 in Orchestrator 2023.10.5 (on premise)

Good morning everyone,

We recently upgraded to the latest on-premise Orchestrator 2023.10.5. After completing the setup, I discovered that I can no longer create environments or run bots en masse from a single menu as effortlessly as I could in previous versions. Additionally, I found that I am unable to add more than one bot/user account to Trigger Queues.

I understand that UiPath engineers may assume that all machines must have the same setup, but in reality, our Information Security team enforces strict controls to protect our company’s intellectual property. Consequently, not all of our machines have the same level of access to the applications they interact with.

Am I missing something, or have these features been moved elsewhere in the new version?

I appreciate all your feedback.

For sure, 2019 to 2023 is an absolute eon in terms of what changed in UiPath, you have a ton of updating to do I am sure.
Environments arent a thing any more, they are a relic of classic folders, which are deprecated, you want to look at machine templates.

Regarding the triggers, you can do this with dynamically allocation and smart usage of folders. I dont recall triggers ever being able to have multiple bots on them, its sounds somewhat useful, but thats something that also must have been deprecated long ago.

There are alot of patch notes etc that go into alot of detail, did you look at them at all?

@Jon_Smith Thank you Sir, much appreciate your response.

Happy to, I imagine there will be alot of things that are confusing like this. The forum can be a great place to help figure some of it out, I’d suggest including that you were used to the 2019 version and describe the feature that no longer exists each time you get stuck and hopefully someone can waypoint you to the modern method.
