Missing Custom Fields In ADO Test Manager Connect Collection

Why custom fields 'Alternate ID' and 'Alternate URL' defined in ADO are not visible in an ADO Test Manager Connect (TMC) collection?

Issue Description:

The following two custom fields added to the ADO project are unavailable in TMC ADO Collection dropdown:

1. 'Alternate ID'

2. 'Alternate URL'

On Tasktop Collections, Alternate Id and Alternate Url are not visible in the dropdown as shown below:

Resolution:

While creating a Process on Azure Devops, the Work Item Process selected should match the template from Process on which Custom fields are defined.

For eg: If you have selected Agile-TMC while creating a Project, define the custom fields on the same template under Process tab.

Prerequisites: Be a member of the Project Collection Administrators group, or have specific collection-level permissions Create process, Delete process, Edit process, or Delete a field from organization.

1. Refresh the ADO collection in TMC to ensure the custom fields are visible under the work item.

2. Use the mapping tool to connect the two custom fields between ADO and UiPath Test Manager.
