Missing "Create Variable" from Design Ribbon

Is anybody else missing the “Create Variable” from design ribbon? I’ve done a fresh install, and now I can’t use the default template variable types.

Any ideas on how to access it or recreate them?

You have variable panel in bottom which is use for same creation, initialisation and updation of variable, since there was a voting to remove that from ribbon they might have removed it not sure though, but still there is a option to achieve same thing in variable panel.
