Hello - I am having an issue that I am hoping someone here can help with.
I have a project that uses UiAutomation.Activities version 24.10.6. On the same machine, I am creating a new process and the highest version available is showing as 23.10.15.
I’ve confirmed the sources in Manage Packages are the same.
Any insight why I am not seeing the most recent version in the new process?
@iamtal ,
Here is the solution for this. You will have to set the version of the package you need for any new process.
Hi @Joseph_P_Lederman , welcome to the Community.
There is a way to update the default dependencies in UiPath Studio & StudioX to specific versions. You can create a custom activity feed that includes the approved packages and set it as the default feed for your organization.
With the custom feed set as the default, every new project created in UiPath Studio & StudioX will use the approved packages from your custom feed instead of the default packages.
Hope this helps,
Best Regards.
Here a feature to improve this experience is raised. You can upvote for this.
With the latest update in UiPath Studio, only system activities are added to projects by default, which is a positive change.
Here’s a suggestion: Could we have an interface where we can select the packages we want whenever we create a new project?
For instance, I always want the UI Automation and Excel packages to be included by default in all my automations. So, in Studio Settings, I select these two packages as my default packages.
Thanks,
Mukesh

@iamtal
Is it the same user as well?
And is the studio version same?
Ideally it would be same
Cheers
