Yes, you need a UiPath Robot instance installed on the Azure VM where the bot will run.
It is not a tool-based one-click migration. You don’t need to recreate the entire bot, but you will need to:
- Deploy existing bot packages to the new Azure Orchestrator
- Reconfigure assets, queues, and schedules in the new environment
- Test each bot on the Azure VM to ensure compatibility and performance
So, the logic stays the same, but the infrastructure and configuration need to be re-done manually.
