How to handle the error 'ErrorQuotaExceeded' when trying to use certain MS Office 365 activities?

Root Cause: When trying to send emails through the Send Mail from the Microsoft365.Activities package , it can fail due to ErrorQuotaExceeded.


Resolution: Check if it is possible to send emails from the mailbox directly via Outlook or Outlook Web Access (OWA).

  1. If possible to send emails from Outlook, request them to sign in with the account the error is encountered and try performing the same operation using the graph explorer.
  2. Login to the page and from the "Sample queries" section, choose, for example POST Send an email.
  3. Run the query. A successful run will look like this:

  1. If the returned error is that the quota is exceeded, engage your local IT teams to address the issue.
