Hello Team,

I am having issue while creating Tenant in UiPath Orchestrator using Host Admin. The issue is coming while creating Tenant using PowerShell with UiPath Rest API.

FYI: We have just migrated one of our spoke to 2020.10.8 , I have tested the same body using UiPath swagger and it worked fine but the same is not working using PowerShell and UiPath API.

Swagger Request:

From PowerShell, It failed

[Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = [Net.SecurityProtocolType]::Tls12
$orchestratorUrl = “https://xxxxx-dev.xxxxx.co.uk
$tennant = ‘vyas3’
###Login (host admin)
$unAuthHeader = @{
‘Accept’ = ‘application/json’
‘content-type’ = ‘application/json’
$hostBody = @{
“tenancyName” = “host”
“usernameOrEmailAddress” = “admin”
“password” = “WxxxxxxxLomhz5”
} | ConvertTo-Json
$authResult = Invoke-RestMethod -Uri “$($orchestratorUrl)/api/Account/Authenticate” -Method Post -Headers $unAuthHeader -Body $hostBody
$authHostAdminHeader = @{“Authorization” = “Bearer $($authResult.result)” }

#check tenant already exists

$robots = Invoke-RestMethod -Uri “$($orchestratorUrl)/odata/Tenants” -Method Get -Headers $authHostAdminHeader
$tenantExists = $robots.value | Where-Object { $_.Name -eq $tennant }
if (!$tenantExists) {
#Add Tennant
$orchestratorTempPassword = “Password!123!”
$addTennantBody = @{
“AdminEmailAddress” = “rpa-admin@xxxxxx.co.uk
“AdminName” = “admin”
“AdminPassword” = “$orchestratorTempPassword”
“Name” = “$tennant”
} | ConvertTo-Json

Failed Line

Invoke-RestMethod -Uri “$($orchestratorUrl)/odata/Tenants” -Method Post -Headers $authHostAdminHeader -Body $addTennantBody

Any help is much appreciated… Thanks.

I resolved this in 2021.10.5 by setting the Content-Type header as such :
Content-Type: application/json;odata.metadata=minimal;odata.streaming=true
