Manipulation of date using mail and stored data

Hello good morning.
I have one scenario can someone please help.
Part ive done- I want to read the tabular data from mail store in variable each row i stored it in collection.
Confusion- next time when bot runs it should check the text/excel file and compare the code, date, status from mail table(collection) to text/excel if duplicate replace or delete else create new in text/excel

What should i use text file using newline seprator or excel. But if i store in excel it’s date data getting chamge automatically.
Please suggest and provide some help.

You can store the date in string format / Long Format and while reading the excel file again you can change the date format to your required format.
