Mail with different subject getting clubbed to other mail chain in smtp

Hi All

I am sending an email using send smtp activity with subject “New Request”. I am also sending another mail in other sequence with subject “[Reminder 1] New Request” and body is also little different. Basically functionally the reminder email is for the first “New Request” email. But even if the subject and body are different of both the emails how come in gmail both are getting clubbed in one mail chain with subject “New Request” ?
