: Maestro – Unable to start RPA job

I’m trying to run a UiPath process from Maestro, but I’m running into this error:

Failure to start the Orchestrator RPA job
Foreground job requires an unattended robot to be defined on your user

The same process runs fine from UiPath Assistant on my machine, so the workflow itself seems okay.

My setup:

  • UiPath Community (Cloud)
  • Using Maestro (Agentic Process)
  • Process is published and visible in Orchestrator
  • Assistant is connected and working

My doubt:
Is Maestro supposed to work only with unattended or cloud robots?
Or is there a way to trigger the process using my local (attended) setup?

Not sure what I’m missing here. Any help would be appreciated.

@nafi.iqbal

ideally maestro needs an unattended license or cloud robots as ideally maestro works independent of user
