Long Running Attended Automation / Screen Lockout

Good Afternoon,

I have a long running attended automation that is set to run for 30+ minutes. I have a concern that the end users screen will lock before it completes. Does anyone know if the automation running will be perceived as activity and in turn prevent the screen lockout to occur after 30 min? We are on gov’t computers so we aren’t able to increase the screen timeout setting.

maybe you can download a program to automatically move the mouse a bit every few seconds such as MouseJiggler in order to prevent screen lock

Yeah, that was what I was thinking as a potential workaround, but was first trying to determine if the automation just running in the background would prevent the screen timeout. Thanks for the advice.
