Limitation regarding custom column layouts in dashboards

Dear Community,

I’m working with UiPath Process Mining Cloud and have noticed a limitation regarding custom column layouts in dashboards.

Current Behavior:

  • Users can customize column layouts in dashboard tables

  • These customizations are lost after logging out

  • The only way to set default columns is through Development mode

  • Development mode settings apply to all users

Issue:

When users customize their column layout (adding/removing columns), these changes are not persisted between sessions. After logging out and back in, they see the default column layout set in Development mode.

Desired Feature:

It would be very helpful to have a user-level setting to save custom column layouts as default. This would allow:

  • Individual users to maintain their preferred column configurations

  • Different users to have different default layouts

  • Better user experience and efficiency

Current Workaround:

The only current solution is to set a global default in Development mode, which affects all users and doesn’t allow for individual preferences.

Question:

Is there a way to save custom column layouts at the user level that I might have missed? If not, could this be considered as a feature request?

Thank you for your help and consideration.

Additional Context:

  • Using latest Process Mining Cloud version

  • Have admin access

  • This affects multiple dashboard types

Would appreciate any insights or alternative solutions from the community.

Thanks for the feedback, @okrosg !

One way you can manage at least some scenarios is to use filter collections , that are user based. Users can define filter states and save them to re-open in the future - they preserve the field/metric selections and order as well (Process Mining - Filters)

We do have plans to add user preferences on the roadmap, so thank you for confirming the need there.
