Licensing Advice Needed for a Small E-commerce Business (1 User, 20 VMs)

Hello,

I am seeking advice on the appropriate UiPath licensing for my e-commerce business.

Here is my situation:

Business: I run a solo e-commerce business.

Use Case: I use UiPath to automate tasks for my online store.

Users: I am the only user.

Infrastructure: To handle the workload, I plan to use 20 virtual machines. A single computer is not sufficient.

Execution Method: I do not need Orchestrator. I am fine with manually starting the automation on each of the 20 machines by pressing the “Run” button.

Goal: I want to find the most cost-effective licensing solution.

I was previously under the impression that the Community Edition could be used commercially by small businesses (fewer than 250 employees/machines and under $5 million in revenue). However, I understand that the terms have recently changed, and the Community Edition is now strictly for non-commercial use.

My main concern is the cost. My business’s monthly revenue is not yet high, and the potential cost of licensing 20 robots—which I estimate could be around $4,000 per month—is something I absolutely cannot afford at this stage. My monthly revenue doesn’t even reach that amount.

Given this situation, what advice or alternative licensing options can you provide? Is there a more viable path for a solo entrepreneur who needs to scale automation across multiple machines without incurring such a high cost?

Thank you for your guidance.

I dont think you have an option which could fall under your budget as you need atleast 20 licenses..
