Hi there,
is the Tenant → Monitoring → License view showing the absolute (maximum) license usage or an average for that day. Unfortunately the documentation is not specifying the needed information as detailed as desired.

Hey @ronny.roscher
This chart shows the maximum number of licenses used concurrently for each robot type.
Each point on the graph is the peak concurrent usage for that day.
We currently have 6 Automation Developers licensed and reached the usage limit multiple times throughout the past days. Nevertheless it only goes up to 5.
So, the graph is not showing how many Automation Developer licenses you own, but how many robots actually executed jobs at the same time for that license type.
If you have 6 Automation Developer - you will only see 6 on the chart if, at some point during that day, all 6 users actually ran their Attended robots / jobs concurrently.
When you say - reached the usage limit - that usually means that all 6 were already allocated and the 7th attempt couldn’t get a license - and does not increase the “used licenses” counter on the chart, because no robot/job was started.
This explains why you can hit the limit and still see a peak of 5 - 5 Automation Developers really ran jobs at the same time.
Thanks,
that makes sense and describes how to read that chart. I was looking at it from a point of Studio usage (without running an automation) whereas the title clearly states “robot usage”. ![]()
