License issue connect Uipath assistant to Orchestrator

I am using trail license and it has 1 unattented and 1 testing robot. I set up machine and user folder on Orchestrator. Once I connect assistant to orchestrator via machine key, it shows orange status with “Connected to Orchestrator. Unable to retrieve a license (please contact your IT department)”. I cannot make assistant status change to green until I sign in with orchestrator acc.

Is there a way that I can connect UiPath assistant with Orchestrator without sign in assistant?

Can you try this-

To connect UiPath Assistant with Orchestrator without signing in, you will need to perform the following steps:

  1. Open UiPath Assistant on your machine.
  2. Click on the Orchestrator Settings icon located in the top-right corner of the Assistant window.
  3. In the Orchestrator Settings window, click on the “Add a new Orchestrator” button.
  4. Enter the Orchestrator URL, Machine Key, and other required details.
  5. Click on the “Test Connection” button to verify the connection.
  6. If the connection is successful, click on the “Save” button.
  7. Close the Orchestrator Settings window

Hey Nitya,

I do not think I have the “Add a new Orchestrator” button in my assistant.

Just need to turn on the troubleshooting session.
