Hello, today there was a popup to update UiPath. After the update, I tried to log in to Studio and it says that the community license doesn’t work for Desktop studio. I have a community/academic license and it worked 3 days ago. Any suggestions?
I do have the Academic license…when I look under my name in studio it says Express. 2 days ago, I could create a workflow in Studio.
I tried to do that, but when I tried to access it through Assistant, Assistant wants me to update CoPilot before I can access anything…and I don’t know how to do that, either.
Is there a way to access Orchestrator besides through the desktop Assistant icon?
Thank you for your help. I had a license through the Academic Alliance. Does that make a difference? Am I going to get locked out every time there is an update?
Academic alliance license expires after few months and then if you still want to use you need to create community account.. community account would not expire unless you start a pro trail or enterprise trail licenses
So now if you convert to community then it should be fine
I see this from an email I received that says the license would be good for 365 days:
The license key can be used for two activations on separate machines and will expire after 365 days, upon activation. However, this license will continue to be automatically extended, but we do recommend updating the version once a year.
Please avoid signing in with an email address on Studio/StudioX or connecting to Orchestrator, as the software will automatically update to the newestversion available online.
I can get Studio to open but now I don’t see the option to get to StudioX. When I go to Orchestrator, it won’t let me get past the screen that wants me to enable autopilot.
