Licence in orchestrator

Hello community

I am a beginner in uipath and there is something about licenses in orchestrator that I cannot understand.
Why the use of licenses for robots? and period of availability? what is the goal?
And how can I increase the number of license
for example in attended robot there is just 5 available (even I am having an enterprise license) now I cannot add any project is there a solution
