I was having huge trouble with this until I tried avoiding the selector editor and editing the selector in the little window under target in the properties of the activity. If I used the selector editor it changed my quotes around the variable to &quote; and that didn’t work. as long as I only edited it in the little window the quotes remained actual quotes and the workflow operated correctly. Isn’t this a bug in the selector editor or am I missing something?

I am having the same problem with ‘&quote;’, Win 7 64-bit, build 17.1.6435.
Edit: Able to perform edits in properties window.
