Question about the Lesson 08 String Activities - Data Manipulation with Strings in Studio - Automation Developer Associate Training Academy course.

I was following along with the videos to create a demo project for my practice. In order to hold the paths of Input and Output folders within the project folder, 2 “Arguments” were created. I am curious. The demo project has only the main workflow and I do not understand why “Arguments” were used in favor of “Variables”.

Hi @sushant.paudel,

Some Academy examples utilize arguments instead of variables to show that a functional workflow can be used within other projects to accept input(s) and provide output(s). This allows students to easily port sample code into future projects.
