Last number of a digit turns into zero

Hi all,

I have run an API and got as a response a 16 digits number, when I atempted to save this info into an excel file for aparent no reason the last digit turns into zero!

My solution was to add a single quote prior to the number, to turn into a string, it worked.

Even though I found a solution myself I would really want to know what is the cause of it.
