Kill process on citrix environment

Hi all,
how can i kill an application opened through citrix?
I didn’t find the name of app in task manager because is opened through citrix.
Thanks in advance

If you have admin access to the remote machine, then can try running a PowerShell script remotely. If not, there is no other work around for this. You will just have to rely on Closing the application from the Ui itself.

Hi @andreus91

I would suggest you to get admin rights (atleast some permission) to tackle the processes that are running in the environment. It would be best to handle process killing without relying on the UI.

I think i’ve admin rights but if i open task manager i didn’t find that app, because run via citrix i think

Hi @andreus91

If you press ctrl+f3 it will bring up the task manager of the citrix server you are in. From there users can end task their own apps without being admins or having to launch a published task manager.

Hope this helps

Hi,

It seems that using taskkill with Citrix processes is not proper because when you use it, you cannot re-open the applications correctly.

Did you find a workaround?

Thanks!
