Hello, does anyone know of a way to keep excel file in UI path studio x open from beginning to end of automation? Each time I start the automation it closes my file and opens it from new from my desktop. This does not work because I need to first sign into an add on, then run the automation. Thank you for your time.
Keep excel file open option in Use Excel file - If the file is not open at the time the project runs, keeps the workbook open after the project finished running instead of closing it. This can be used to review the file afterwards.
Or
you have to open the excel from activities - use Application/browser witch leads to give you in properties - options - close ( here u say never)
Thank you for the assistance. I am able to keep the file open after I finish the automation. The issue is that the excel file closes and then opens back up each time I start the automation and there is an add on that pops up each time which requires me to log in. Would be awesome to log in once and then be able to run the process multiple times after that log in
That is the issue ive been having. Once I try to get the bot to log in for me it says it cannot find the box next to “password” to enter mine
