Hi,
I was just trying to uninstall report studio from my PC, however it seems to have gone wrong, and I think I need the correct version UIPathStudio.msi. If I go to my add /remove programs I see that I have reference of version UiPath Studio 22.10.50. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi,
How about to upgrade to the latest version, then uninstall it?
Regards,
Hi - Yoichi - Thanks for getting back to me. It seems like UiPath is too smart for that, when I try to uninstall with a new version, it seems to know. I get a message that reads: “… Try to find the installation package 'UiPathStudio.msi in a folder from which you can install UiPath Sudio” even though I browsed to a more recent downloaded version
Hi,
My intent is: first upgrade your UiPath actually using the latest installer then uninsitall it (using the latest installer) ( if you haven’t tried it yet.)
Regards,
I’m most likely being dumb, but cannot seem to find anywhere where I’m able to download a new version.
Hi,
Can you access AutomationCloud?
We can get it from resource center in Automation Cloud.
Regards,
Yes, I can download that page. I’m able to download UiPathStudioComminity.msi only it seems. Will that make it possible for me to uninstall the other version ? Thanks
Hi,
In theory, it works because if we can upgrade UiPath without old version installer. And if we try to uninstall UiPath, it’s necessary same version installer.
Which edition do you use now, Community or Enterprise? If latter, Enterprise installer might be better.
Regards,
This is what shows up in my add/remove programs area. I believe that it is Enterprise, do you agree?
Hi,
It might better to check it at start screen of Studio
However, I think it’s no problem to try enterprise msi.
Regards,
this is much harder than I expected. Not sure I have the definitive answer to the above, here is what I see when I open UiPath :
Pretty stuck still as I’m getting the below:
I definitely have the space:
Oops, let me clear up a little more space
Hi,
FYI, if you have run workflow of UiPath, there are a lot of files in the following folder and we can delete it.
C:\Users\[username]\.nuget\packages
Regards,
Yoichi, thank so much for all of your assistance. The thing that worked for me was having the link to the same version for uninstall. I have now successfully uninstalled. Thanks again.
