Hi-

I am just getting started on my UiPath learning. Running thru the 1st trainig tutorial, I am already stuck.

I am running the very 1st tutorial,Table Data Extraction for Sales Opportunities to Excel workbook

I am stuck on step 4. This is where you tell it to save the excel file locally. I am running this on my personal windows 11 laptop with office 365.

When configuring this I see the following message
Warning: This activity is limited on Personal Account connections due to API restrictions. Use a Business Account connection.

The output log shows this:
The caller is not authenticated.
[UiPath.MicrosoftOffice365.Office365Exception]

  • Code: unauthenticated
    Message: Unauthenticated
    [UiPath.MicrosoftOffice365.Office365InternalException
    ]
  • Code: unauthenticated

Is this why it is failing? I don’t have a business account? if so, what path should I take to learn this with my current setup?

Nothing to do with UiPath itself, it means your microsoft account doesn’t have permission to use this API.

You can try setting up a free account : Developer Program | Microsoft 365 Dev Center

You can not use O365 integration using your Personal Free account for this. You will require O365 trial or a paid license for this.
