Job Retention Policy

Hello,

I have had 2 jobs run nightly for a bit now.
A few days ago, I started getting the following notifications:

Folder : Retention Delete for Process encountered the following error: Sequence contains no elements [See more]

I click on See More and I went over the explanations, but I am not sure how to resolve the error.

Has anyone run into this?

Can you paste the full error here

Also we see this exception where there is an issue with any one of the xamls…try to open project and debug each xaml to know the issue

Thank you for your reply.
Other than the error I get in the email, which I am attaching here, I do not get any others.
When I click on SEE MORE, it takes me to the automation section for the specific job in orchestrator, but no errors. I can did through the setting and get to where the retention policy is set, but nothing to indicate what sequence it is referring to.
I will check the xamls but the jobs do succeed nightly.

I did read the first document and I skimmed over the second one now.
The documents explain how to configure the policies, and in this case, I am using the default configuration of deletion after 30 days, but it looks like the functionality itself is having an issue to due to something not being present.

I can try and change the duration or to switch to archive instead of delete and see if the alert stops.

May be there is one scenario in the bot where there is something wrong which is getting triggered only few times…check that …you can check the different between logs for success and failed to see what is the different in the execution modules if any…like a different if condition being wvaluated etc

Thank you all for helping.

Just an update for everyone. While I did not find anything decidedly wrong with the workflows, and I reverted the retention settings to the defaults, after a few days I stopped receiving the alerts. I could be wrong, but it may have a been a temporary issue on my tenant instance.

In any case, I wanted to thank again everyone who advised on this matter.
