Description: I am attempting to install and configure UiPath Test Manager for Jira Cloud to enable defect reporting directly from Orchestrator test results. However, I have noticed recent reviews mentioning “deprecated platform features,” which is causing some confusion during the setup.
Goal:
- Successfully install the Jira Cloud app from the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Link my Test Manager project to Jira Cloud using an API Token.
- Be able to “Create Defect” from the Execution logs in Test Manager for failed Orchestrator jobs.
Current Status:
- I have checked the Atlassian Marketplace, but am concerned about the compatibility errors reported by other users.
- I need to confirm if the current version (v2.12.0 or newer) has resolved the deprecation issues.
Questions:
- Is there a specific “Update” step required in Atlassian Administration to bypass the deprecated feature error?
- What are the exact minimum permissions required for the Jira API token to allow defect creation from Test Manager?
