Hey everyone I was wondering. I made a field group that contains 1 simple field for each group. I used the Document Understanding Project Extractor and tried to map the fields to the studio project taxonomy without success.
I do know that it can work if I do 1 table field and then have X columns inside but it will be tough for the user to validate with such approach. is there any other way?

no, this is not supported even when using ixp inside the document understanding template. the project extractor can map only simple fields directly under a document type or table fields with columns. field groups with single fields cannot be mapped, so redesigning the taxonomy or using a table is the only supported approach.

no, ixp cannot create a simple field. simple fields must already exist in the taxonomy at the document type level. inside ixp you can only use the fields and groups defined there, so if you use a field group, any field must be created under that group in the taxonomy.
