Issue with Simulate on SAP

Someone please help me..

In scope, i have chosen simulate.

when i change at activity level either simulate/same as app or browser. Its showing to disbale click before typing. I have set it to none as well. Still it shows warning. Is it due to repos or what? help me

Its keep on throwing warning, but works fine…How can i remove the warning?

@Salman_Faries

Check and set Click before typing to None in both Target and Verification.

This should clear your warning. If not, try changing the input mode to Simulate if it’s supported by field you are automating in SAP.

Im referencing simulate already, still throws error

@Salman_Faries ohk

Is this stuck in Studio cache. Have you tried restarting the studio? Also try installing latest possible package version of UiAutomation.

@Salman_Faries

Can you try below steps,

  • Set Input mode - simulate
  • Click before typing is None
  • Verify change from Auto to None

After changing just save the workflow and see if warning is gone otherwise just close the project and reopen and see the warning is gone.

Hi Salman_Faries

It is just a warning, everything will still work. According to the UiPath Documentation ‘Click before typing’ is not supported by the 'Input mode ‘Simulate’. See the ‘Input mode’ section of the documentation: Activities - Type Into

If you want the warning to disappear you can do this:

  1. Open the ‘Click before typing’ in ‘Expression Editor’
  2. Delete everything in the ‘Expression Editor’
  3. Save

Now the warning should be gone.

NB! I found the last part in another post, but can’t find it again, just wanted to credit the other person writing it.

Hope this helps :slight_smile:

Hi @Salman_Faries
You can switch to classic activities and try once
