Issue on bitness while automating with IBM IACS application

Hi,

I am working on automating with IBM I access application and all the configuration I giving properly but unable to connect getting error.
1)can we automate IBM I ACS application with JRE 64bit because I heard some where it wont work on 64bit JRE and currently I have 64bit Java installed.

if it wont work on 64 bit then how to automate IBM IACS application
