I am currently building an automation and I want to access a google spreadsheet in a shared folder to add a new row of data. I thought intuitively that I would use the activity ‘use google spreadsheet’ but it is saying that I can’t use this inside a GSuite application scope. What do I need to do here?

You can try to use Google Workspace package (1)
And then, you can use first “Use Google Drive” activity (2) and inside of it you can add “Find Files and Folder - Get ID” (3) with a query searching for your file name to get the id.
After that you can use “Use Google Spreadsheet” (4) activity with the id found in (3).
