Is there any setting or set required to work with Autopilot in Web Studio?

Continuing the discussion from How to access UiPath Autopilot in web studio:

I was using the ‘Generate with Autopilot’ feature, but I encountered several issues. Sometimes, Autopilot is able to generate a selector based on the given prompt, but most of the time it doesn’t work at all.

Why it is? Is there any setting or set up I am missing here

Hi @himanshu.yadav,

As such we dont have the any control over Autopilot’s behvaiour.

But you can refer to the steps mentioned in docuemntation to generate automatic sequence & workflow:

@himanshu.yadav,

There is no specific settings you have to set. As the feature is still evolving, it could work or not sometimes.

Considering the maturity of the product , use Autopilot for creating a skeleton for your project and expect finetuning at every stage

In your case - once the sample code is generated - make sure that the selectors are working fine or recapture the selectors wherever applicable

Autopilot will help you to ease the development. Not full remove the development at this stage

Hi @Nikhil_Zambare1

Thank you for your response and for sharing the documentation with me—I appreciate it. I’ve already reviewed the document, but I’m still facing an issue I hope you might have some insight into.

Specifically, I’ve noticed that the “Generate with Autopilot” feature works intermittently. Sometimes it successfully generates selectors based on the same prompt, but other times it fails to respond or generate anything at all. This inconsistency is occurring even though I’m working with a very simple scenario—just three elements on the screen.

Have you encountered a similar issue? Any suggestions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @sharazkm32,

Thank you for your response.

In my case, I’m simply trying to use Autopilot to identify or generate selectors for just three elements on the screen. Despite the simplicity, it still fails to detect those elements consistently.

What’s particularly puzzling is the inconsistency—sometimes it works perfectly with the exact same application and prompt, and other times it doesn’t respond at all. Have you experienced similar behavior?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dear @himanshu.yadav,

I dont reply on Autopilot for sequence generation as the end we have to verify everything from activity selector to properties. :face_with_peeking_eye:

If you are on Enterpise lincese, please raise support case to troubleshoot the issue.

Mark as solution, if this thred is useful.
