Is apache office or libre office is compatible with uipath?

Hello,

we have scripts which includes excel activities and microsoft office 2013 is insatlled on the system and scripts are working fine.
Now management is saying that they will change microsoft office to libre / apache one.
Please update us this both are compatible with uipath or not?
we have some huge scripts which includes excel automations , is it possible to make changes again with those scripts if libre / apache is compatible? or should we request them to insatll microsoft office 2013 again?
help me on same.

I think We don’t have any official LibreOffice packages yet. But you can search on unofficial feeds or use workbook activities instead of excel:

I would suggest to avoid platform and application changes
If it’s possible to install Microsoft office it saves you lot of time

hello can u please confirm on below point.
we are currently using 2013 version of ms office .
if we install 2016 version then there will be any issue?
we need to chnage anything?

Well I don’t think like it will be an issue
Let’s have sandbox environment first and then give a try
It should be fine I believe
