Invoke Code - VB.NET - REST call works in debug mode but fails when live

Hi,

I have a VB.NET REST PUT call through an Invoke Code activity that works as expected when the bot is run in debug mode, but fails with the following error when run live:

  • ‘RestClient’ is not defined
  • ‘RestRequest’ is not defined
  • ‘IRestResponse’ is not defined

What can be done to fix this?

Thank you!

@loginerror @Palaniyappan @ppr - could you please look at this? Thanks!

Hi @sumitd

Is this by chance a Windows or Cross-Platform project? Does it work if the file path that you are specifying is present in the project folder?

And in general, some other questions:

  • is it also the case for a simpler HTTP Request, such as simply fetching google.com with a GET?
  • if it does reproduce on a public webpage, would you mind attaching a zip of the project for our reference?

Hi @loginerror - this got fixed when I upgraded studio to 2022.10.3.
Unfortunately, didn’t get a chance to test with your suggestions, but I guess with 2022.10.3 we are now beyond the issue.
Thanks for your support!
