Why "Invalid license format, could not interpret the information from server" error is thrown when activating license in Orchestrator?
Root Cause: This error is seen when the license is activated in https://activate.UiPath.com/orchestrator and is being used on a higher version of Orchestrator (example - 2019.10.x or 2020.4.x).
https://activate.UiPath.com/orchestrator is used only when activating/deactivating license for version 2019.4 or lower. From 2019.10, https://activate.UiPath.com/ needs to be used for activation/deactivation of Orchestrator licenses.
Resolution:
Have the machine ID deactivated by contacting UiPath Sales team and re-activate license using Online or Offline methods .
