# Invalid data while decoding

I have getting trouble while making new project  
It’s showing that invalid data while decoding.  
I have tried many things like reinstall, give other location path for project but nothing is working  
Please help.

Hi @hardiksinhgohil97, Welcome to the Community.

Keep a backup of the JSON file & try to clear the following folders:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\UiPath.cache  
%userprofile%.nuget\packages

Also, refer to the following resource that might help you.

HI @hardiksinhgohil97

Make the copy of the project file somewhere else and the  
in the copied folder Open that json file with notepad and delete all the data in that file and save it

after this open the xaml file
