Integration service box folder validation error

Hi,

I am getting unresolved error after importing the project into studio web and I am still able to establish the connection to box folder but still I am getting validation error like UiPath.core.unknowntype in the default value for folder items variable.

And it is also showing dll file is missing.

How to resolve this.

Could somebody help me out on this.

Hi @bhanusai_sajja

Have you tried clearing the value and inputting it again?
Also perhaps Autopilot can fix the error if you switch to Agent mode.

Hi @bhanusai_sajja,

Since the Box connection itself is working, I would separate the connection issue from the project validation issue.

The combination of UiPath.Core.UnknownType plus a missing DLL after importing the project into Studio Web makes me suspect a project/package compatibility issue rather than the Box connection itself.

I would check these first:

  1. What Studio/Desktop version was the original project created with?
  2. What Studio Web project type/version is being used now?
  3. Which activity is showing the UiPath.Core.UnknownType validation error?
  4. Check the project’s dependency/package versions before and after the import.
  5. Open the activity causing the validation error and check whether its input/output type still exists in the Studio Web version of the activity.

If the project was originally built in Desktop, I would also check whether it contains any activity/type that is not supported in Studio Web. An imported workflow can retain serialized type information even when the target environment no longer has the corresponding assembly/type available, which can result in UnknownType and missing-DLL validation errors.

If you can identify the exact activity showing UnknownType, that would be the best next clue. Once we know that activity and the package version, we can determine whether this is a dependency mismatch, unsupported activity, or corrupted project metadata.
