Installation issue (Serious)

I’ve tried to submit this issue about 5x… 2-3 in the customer portal but I get nowhere. Outside of the customer portal I’ve tried emailing but I get messages which indicate that the email wasn’t submitted/sent (“We’re stumped, SORRY!”).
If I have a serious installation issue but I can’t communicate with the developers or technical support staff… where do I go?
So… here’s what I’ve experienced…

Windows 10 Pro: All MS updates through Monday, 6/24/2024
Office 365: All MS updates through Monday, 6/24/2024
Dell 5500; 4TB SSD; 16GB RAM
Browsers active: Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge and Opera all up-to-date through Monday, 6/24/2024
I downloaded Clipboard AI from your site and selected to install into Chrome, Firefox and Edge rather than a reboot.
In a word: DISASTER or TWO words: ABSOLUTE DISASTER.
Here’s what happened for about +/-2 hours (prob not much of an exaggeration but I wasn’t in-front of my laptop): 100% cpu utilization pegged on what appeared to be these three (3) browsers. Not sure of what was going on, so I decided to remove the UI app from my system (I have full rights).
More wait, wait, 100%, wait, wait, 100%… ad nauseum…
I watched this for about 10++ minutes and decided to go away and come back another day. After about 2 hours I noticed the system seemed to be stable and I restarted (there were no MS updates pending a restart).
Needless to say, I’m SERIOUSLY burned BUT confident that you can provide guidance.
Here’s what’s unique (I think) about my active system:
Chrome tabs: 100+ ish (it’s very high but <200)
Firefox tabs: Probably 100ish but not as high as Chrome
Lots of separate windows for the above browsers; no hidden windows in use for any browser.
Edge tabs: maybe 30+ ish
Opera tabs: 20+
Brave tabs: 20ish
So, why sooo many tabs? I work at several places instead of having a ‘single job’ so I separate my clients and their respective needs into separate browsers as much as I can AND I do research for other people etc.
My ‘gut’ feel is that the app was being inserted into every single active tab. If correct, I’d probably have to wait a looooong time to use the app? If I’d select restart, then the launch time for each of the primary browsers (Chrome, Firefox and Edge) would have taken hours++ (days?).
I don’t have the time to waste…

What are my next steps? I can’t be without my FUNCTIONAL laptop for more than an hour during the day. Night time risk? What if ALL things fail?? ;-(

@tfoltz,

You didn’t mentioned what you are trying install but I’m assuming UiPath Studio.

As per Hardware and Software Requirements Windows 10 Pro OS is not supported by Studio.

Check more prerequisites her:

Thanks,
