Installation and Upgrade Issues

In May of 2017, I had downloaded and installed UiPath Community Edition - It ran the first time and then I was never able to run it. Nothing ever showed up - it’s as if I never clicked on the App at all.
I tried many times and then gave up.

Today, I got an email on the 2018 version and wanted to check if the old problem persisted - and voila ! the application started without any issues - but then after couple of times, the same thing happend - when I click on the application, nothing happens. Application does not seem to be hanging - I checked the TaskBar !

We have 2 problems now:
1, Installation itself
2. Upgrade to newer version

I’ve used the old UiPath - Desktop version a year ago and want to update and learn the new version
