Insights: No ElastiCube Servers Are Available

How to handle Insights when ElastiCube Servers are not available?

Perform the below steps:

  1. Login to Orchestrator
  2. Go to https://<insights url>/app/data
  3. Check to see if the ECM cube is down (it will show red). If its down, try restarting the service.
    • Open services.msc
    • Find the service Sisense.ECMServer
    • Restart the service.
    • If any services with the prefix 'Sisense' are not running and they are set to 'Startup Type' 'Automatic', make sure they are running.
    • After 15-30 seconds, the service should show green in /app/data.
    • If the service does not show green, capture the logs from: %programdata%\Sisense\application-logs\ecm and share them with UiPath Support.
  4. If the ECM service is running then the issue is probably that the tenant was not setup correctly.
    • Rerun the insights admin tool at C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath\Orchestrator\Tools\UiPath.InsightsAdminTool.exe for enabling the tenant.
      • Make sure to run it as an Administrator!
    • After running it, it will probably say: 'Could not setup tenant <tenant name>'. If it says this it means the setup failed. If it says 'Complete' it means the setup was successful.
    • If the setup was unsuccessful, check the log in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\UiPath\Orchestrator\Tools\
    • If the log is not present, it means the tool was not ran as an administrator.
    • In the log search for 'Error'. Try search for the error message or share the log with UiPath Support.
