Insights installation fails with error "Could not determine Orchestrator Version" .

Issues Description: Could not determine Orchestrator Version during on Insights installation.

  • Orchestrator Install on PaaS
  • Identity is separately installed

Starting Insights installation and the following error appears:

Resolution:

  1. Check under Identity that parameter exist (in Kudu) if not please add it and retest
  • IdentityServer.S2SIntegration.Enabled = true
  1. Do a reset of Orchestrator machine and retest.
