Inqury About UiPath UIAutomation Activities' License (or Policies)

Hello,
I have been a long time user of your products.
And please understand that if my inquiry is not understandable because my English is short. :frowning:

First of all,
I respect UiPath products sincerely - especially UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities (really love the concept of Selector. :slight_smile:) -
and using the products almost 5~6 years.

Even though I certainly know that Drag & Drop, Workflow Development, or related experiences are the important value what UiPath product team is thinking, but I sometimes feel uncomfortable with these features.

So I wanted to create automation projects in script (pythonic way), and I made a simple Python wrapping class based on UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities package and pythonnet as a personal toy project.

And I’d like to share the idea with UiPath Community or developers if UiPath team don’t mind, but I’m worried that if it might violate to UiPath’s license or policies.
May I ask some guideline for my question?

Thank you.

@youngseop_kim

Welcome to the community

Till you don’t sell it separately with a license you can always create and share multiple components. You can as well leverage marketplace to share your product

cheers

Hi @youngseop_kim ,

If you are trying to provide suggestions, then you have already chosen the right type of post to provide your suggestions and views.

The UiPath Team always welcomes suggestions and ideas from their users and they would definitely want to hear your thoughts on the same. Glad that you are trying to post your ideas and maybe also suggesting to improve the existing.

Your ideas will definitely help the community and also the Team who are also putting all of their efforts trying to improve the platform experience, if not approved it would always lead to learning.

If you still want to have a one-to-one conversation, I’m sure you could maybe try to provide your feedback through a Support Ticket. Or you could post it here and let the Team along with the whole community know about your ideas on improvement.

@Anil_G, @supermanPunch,

Thank you for the replies, it was very fast!
As what you suggested, I need to try through Support Ticket. But still hope the Team see this thread. :rofl:
