Regarding the certification titled “Infrastructure Engineer Professional Standalone,”
we would like to ask whether there are any specific actions during the Part 1 and Part 2 hands-on exams that may result in score deductions.
Based on the results of two previous attempts, we observed that for Part 1, the attempt in which we believe more tasks were completed resulted in a lower score than expected.
As a result, we are considering the following two possible causes for the score reduction and would appreciate your guidance on whether our understanding is correct, as well as whether there are any other actions that may lead to point deductions.
When reviewing UiPath product documentation, accessing websites such as docs.uipath.com via browser search instead of accessing them directly from within the VM
└ This follows the procedure you shared with us in your previous email (the relevant section has been highlighted in yellow).
Using Copilot within the browser during the exam.
We understand that there may be information that cannot be disclosed, so any guidance you are able to provide within the allowable scope would be greatly appreciated.
We apologize for taking your time while you are busy, and we sincerely appreciate your support.
I have attempted this exam twice and I confirm that I did not use any GPT tools or Copilot during either attempt.
In both attempts, I completed all the provided tasks and expected a full score. However, I received only 40% and was marked as failed. The results were inconsistent across attempts, and I did not receive similar scoring patterns despite following the same approach.
This leads me to believe that the task validation inside the virtual machines is not functioning correctly. During the exam, I repeatedly received system pop-ups such as “20 minutes of inactivity” warnings, even while actively working. This strongly suggests that activity tracking or validation within the VMs may not be working as intended.
I have already documented and raised this concern publicly for transparency and clarity:
• UiPath Forum:
• LinkedIn post:
I respectfully request a thorough review of the VM-level validation and activity logs, rather than relying solely on the final score, and I ask that the findings be shared so the issue can be assessed accurately.
